Forum Vice Chair Ian Siegner with NBA Legend Terry Porter

Commercial Forum Vice Chair, Ian Siegner of Siegner & Co in Portland OR, brainstorned and coordinated a charity painting project at the Portland Boys and Girls Club.  Painting contractors Siegner & Co., Sundeleaf Painting, Don Rhyne Painting and paint vendor Miller Paint supplied time and materials to compllete a charity painting project at the Portland Boys and Girls Club.  In return for their volunteer efforts, the Portland Trailblazers provided NBA Legend and Coach Terry Porter as a speaker and assistend with catered dinner costs and hosted an event at the Rose Quarter Arena.,  Shannon Olson, Portland PDCA Executive Director reported that the event couldn't have been better with their highest post event rating being a ten and this event received elevens.

Ian Siegner shared "Terry was the nicest person and definitely has an attitude that is completely absent in sports today.  It was evident why the Portland teams from the late 80’s and early 90’s were so good – they worked as a team.Terry said that the team had a motto that worked for them that no one lost sight of…..’You’ve got to be a TEAM to make the DREAM’.  It was especially nice to be able to introduce him and share one of my favorite TP stories in which he scored 38 points, 4 of 8 from behind the 3-point line to bring Portland into the 2nd and 3rd Overtime….ultimately beating the Seattle Supersonics, 130-124.  Great game."

Congratulations Ian and the Portland PDCA Chapter.  Way to Lead!
