8% Increase for Building is Forecast for 2011
For some forum members, business has picked up a bit. Most are still faced with not enough work, a continued lack of projects to bid and stupid, below competitive pricing. An 8% increase over 2010 new construction starts is expected in 2011 according to the McGraw Hill Construction forecast. McGraw-Hill expects the U.S. economy will grow 2.5% in 2011 and suggests the economy will continue to struggle in 2011 but avoid another recession. Read the Wall Street Journal article here.
